Shakira turned an already monumental night in Madrid into a record-breaking global event Saturday, October 3, as her Shakira Live from Madrid concert became the most-viewed livestream performance by a female artist in Amazon Music history, according to Amazon Music.

The historic broadcast brought Shakira's Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to fans around the world, but one of the night's biggest moments came when global superstar Dua Lipa made a surprise appearance onstage.

Shakira welcomed Lipa in front of more than 50,000 fans during the eighth night of her massive Madrid residency, and the two stars joined forces for a special performance of "Antología," one of the most beloved songs from Shakira's 1995 album Pies Descalzos.

The performance marked the first time Shakira and Dua Lipa had performed together onstage, turning the unexpected collaboration into one of the standout moments of Shakira's Madrid residency.

Before introducing Lipa, Shakira praised the British-Albanian singer and declared herself an official fan. The pair then delivered an intimate rendition of "Antología" as the Madrid crowd sang along.

The song carried additional meaning for both artists. Dua Lipa previously performed "Antología" during a 2025 concert in Bogotá, Colombia, paying tribute to Shakira in the city where the song was written. Shakira publicly praised Lipa's rendition at the time, setting the stage for a musical connection that finally came together in Madrid.

Saturday's concert wasn't limited to the thousands of fans inside the venue. Amazon Music broadcast the performance globally across Amazon Music, Prime Video and Twitch, giving audiences around the world access to Shakira's first full-concert global livestream.

According to Amazon Music, the broadcast ultimately broke all of its previous records for a livestream performance by a female artist.

The achievement adds another milestone to what has already been an enormous chapter in Shakira's career.

Her Madrid residency consists of 12 concerts running through October 11 and is expected to bring more than 600,000 fans to the Spanish capital. The residency serves as the closing chapter of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which has drawn millions of fans throughout its global run.

Shakira's dominance has extended beyond the concert stage. Amazon Music announced ahead of the livestream that she was its most-listened-to Latina artist worldwide in 2026 year-to-date, while "Dai Dai" ranked as the platform's No. 1 song worldwide over the same period
