LSU's Flau'jae Johnson was named a third-team All-American by the AP on Wednesday. It's the second time she has been honored with the recognition, the first coming last season during her junior year.
She averages 13.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. LSU has won 27 games overall this season, including seven straight in the SEC, which included a 70-65 win over No. 2 Texas on January 11 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, where she has been a vocal leader. A total of 24 out of 32 games Johnson has played have featured double figures.
Against Oklahoma at the SEC Tournament, Johnson recently exceeded 2,000 career points and was named to the All-SEC First Team for the second straight season. Her achievement made her the sixth member of the LSU team to reach that milestone, joining Joyce Walker (2,906), Seimone Augustus (2,702), Julie Gross (2,488), Cornelia Gayden (2,451), and Sylvia Fowles (2,234).
Mikaylah Williams and MiLaysia Fulwiley were also named honorable mentions for the All-American team in 2025-26. One of the most impactful athletes to ever wear an LSU jersey is Johnson. It will be Johnson's last weekend playing in the PMAC as the Tigers prepare for NCAA Tournament play in the coming days.
Initially, the Tigers will play No. 15 seeded Jacksonville, and if they win that game, they will face the winner of Texas Tech vs. Villanova.
