Atlanta gets back to their winning ways

The Atlanta Dream ended a five-game losing streak on Thursday night by winning 89-78 against Seattle Storm with 22 points from Allisha Gray and 18 points and 11 rebounds from Angel Reese.
Reese surpassed Tina Charles (63) for the most double doubles in a player's first three seasons in the WNBA. She was helped off the court with 1:19 remaining after rolling her right ankle.
Midway through the third quarter, Reese gave the Dream a 68-48 lead, and they held a lead of at least eight points throughout the fourth quarter.
Dominique Malonga had 15 points and nine rebounds, and Natisha Hiedeman had 20 points for Seattle (6-18). Flau'jae Johnson scored 12 points. With 21 turnovers, Seattle was reckless with the ball.
Rhyne Howard scored 19 points for Atlanta (13-9), which won for the first time since June 22. Howard shot 4 of 11 from 3-point range, while Seattle hit 3 of 20. The Dream had 14-plus steals for the third straight game.
Kim Mulkey, LSU's women's basketball coach, attended the event to see former players Reese and Johnson.
This victory was crucial for Atlanta as it ended their five-game losing streak, boosting morale and confidence.
