Day 1 of Senior Bowl

Tuesday morning top selected seniors from all different colleges football teams came out for

their first practice at this year's Reece’s Senior bowl. All eyes are on University of Pittsburgh

Quarterbacks Kenny Pickett on the National team and Liberty Malik Willis on the American

team. Pickett had an okay day but had problems receiving the ball under center, something he

doesn’t normally do. In the 7 on 7 drills he threw an interception to one of the linebackers.

On the American team Willis had a great day showing off his arm talent, especially a deep throw to Memphis wide receiver Calvin Austin III in the team drills. That wasn’t the only solid

performance at quarterback Nevada’s Carson Strong showed he can be a sleeper in this draft

showing that he could surprise. Now that isn’t the only talent that was out there, defensive

lineman Otito Ogbonnia from UCLA showed every scout what he did at UCLA causing havoc

inside the line of scrimmage making guards and centers lives difficult.

There are were other notable defender that stood out Myjai Sanders from Cincinnati who gave problems for Minnesota top prospect offensive tackle Daniel Faalele. Other notable players that stood out running backs Arizona state Rachaad White, Cincinnati Jerome Ford, and Southern Alabama wide receiver Jalen Tolbert.
