Clippers hold off Golden State's second half comeback, 108-101

Los Angeles- Behind Nicolas Batum late three pointer, the Clippers escape with a victory over the Golden State Warriors.

Down by six points midway in the fourth, Kawhi Leonard put the team on his back. He was attacking the painted area by getting to his sweet spots on the floor, as well as driving through the lane and finding his teammates to catch and shoot wide-open three points.

Batum extend the Clippers' lead, as he nailed two consecutive three pointers with under two minutes left in regulation to shut the door on any comeback from Golden State. Batum finished with 13 points and 5 rebounds.

Even though the Clippers pulled out the victory over the Warriors, once again the Clippers have to be concerned with letting leads slip. They were lucky this time around, but next time they may find themselves in a similar situation to last season in the playoffs. Letting leads slip have haunted the Clippers for the last two seasons. If they want to be a team opponents fear, they have to keep their foot on the pedal at all times.
