The National Quarterback Club (NQBC) has announced today that Marlin Briscoe, Carson Palmer and Steve Spurrier will be inducted into the National Quarterback Club Hall of Fame at the 2024 NQBC Awards Dinner and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony presented by Fiesta Bowl on February 28, 2025.   In addition, the NQBC will name the national quarterback of the year at all levels - professional, college, and high school.  The reception will begin at 5 p.m. at The Caesars Republic Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona. The awards dinner and induction ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Marlin "The Magician" Briscoe, known as the first Black starting quarterback in the modern NFL era, made history with his remarkable athleticism and leadership on the field. Carson Palmer, a former Heisman Trophy winner and three-time Pro Bowl selection, is celebrated for his impressive career with the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals. Steve Spurrier, both a legendary player and coach, left an indelible mark on college football with his innovative offensive strategies and numerous championship titles.

The NQBC Hall of Fame serves as a prestigious recognition for individuals who have made significant contributions to the game of football, particularly in the quarterback position. It honors not only their exceptional skills and achievements on the field but also their impact on the sport's history and culture. Induction into the Hall of Fame is a testament to their enduring legacy and influence on future generations of players.
