The Aces lost to the Sparks 97-89. Jackie Young tied her career high with 34 points and Chelsea Gray added 28 for Las Vegas. A'ja Wilson made 2 of 12 field goals and 9 of 10 free throws to finish with 13 points, eight rebounds, and five assists in 28 minutes. Wilson left the game with 1:17 left in the third quarter due to a head injury caused by an accidental hit in the face on Dearica Hamby's drive to the basket.

Rickea Jackson scored a career-high 30 points, Azura Stevens had 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Hamby scored 19 points with eight rebounds and seven assists for Los Angeles. Kelsey Plum scored 13 points and had nine assists against her former team.

Wilson's early exit due to the head injury likely disrupted the Aces' rhythm and momentum, as she is a key player in both their offense and defense. Her absence in the crucial final quarter may have contributed to the team's inability to close the gap and secure a win. Additionally, losing a player of her caliber can affect team morale, making it difficult for the Aces to maintain their competitive edge against a strong Sparks lineup.

Jackson's career-high performance was pivotal in the Sparks' victory. Her 30 points provided a significant offensive boost, counteracting the contributions of the Aces' star players. Jackson's ability to find scoring opportunities and capitalize on them demonstrated her growth and potential as a key player for Los Angeles.
