Aces closes out the series against the Sun and move forward to play the Storm in the WNBA Finals

Vegas- The Las Vegas Aces holds on late in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory over the Connecticut Sun, 66-63.

Aja Wilson got into her rhythm early in the game and set the tone for the Las Vegas Aces. Wilson was active on the boards and demanded the ball when she got into the post area. On the defensive end, the Aces struggled to stop the twin towers with Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner. Both players were killing the Aces of the offensive end and it seemed like the Aces' confidence was slowly shrinking in the first half. Angel McCoughtry started to get going in the second quarter. McCoughtry had 12 points in the quarter and helped her team cut the Sun's lead to single digits at the half, 45-39.

Coming out the gate in the third quarter, the Aces went on 9-0 run to cut the Sun's lead to one. The Aces took the lead with outstanding defense, as the Sun had four turnovers in the quarter. Las Vegas doubled Bonner, as soon as she caught the ball in the post. Back and forth both teams traded leads. Lets' take it to the fourth quarter.

With under .50 seconds left in regulation and the Aces up three points, Wilson did what she does best and stopped a potential bucket for the Sun. That was the key factor that got the Aces to win and a trip to play the Seattle Storm in the Finals.
