The Las Vegas Aces are off to a disappointing start in the 2025 WNBA season, losing their third consecutive game on Friday despite the return of reigning MVP A'ja Wilson. Wilson, who missed previous games due to injury, delivered an impressive performance with 20 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and three blocks. However, her seven turnovers proved costly in the loss to the Seattle Storm.

Despite Wilson's contributions, the Aces struggled to contain a well-rounded Storm team. Four of Seattle's starters scored in double digits, led by Nneka Ogwumike with 25 points and Skylar Diggins with 24. The Storm's starters outscored the Aces' starting lineup 88-68, highlighting the Aces' struggles this season.

On a brighter note, Wilson's performance marked her 78th game with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds, surpassing Sylvia Fowles for the second-most 20-10 games in WNBA history. Only Tina Charles, with 103 such games, has recorded more. At her current pace, Wilson is on track to break Charles' record before the season ends, averaging 20.8 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

While the Aces' 5-7 record reflects their challenges, Wilson's dominance continues to solidify her status as one of the most formidable players in WNBA history.
