Day 1of WrestleMania had a mix of title changes and returns, and honestly, that’s what people were reacting to the most. Paige coming back was a big one. It’s been a while, so seeing her back in that spot stood out right away. There were also multiple title changes, especially in the women’s division, which made it feel like things were actually shifting instead of staying the same.
Some of the bigger moments really landed. as Cody Rhodes came out on top again, which was one of the headline moments, especially going up against someone like Randy Orton. It wasn’t just about the win; it was more about what it means for where things go from here with the storyline. Another big moment was the OTC wining against CM Punk in one of the best wrestling matches in a long time.
But the moment that was really heartfelt was Brock Lesnar retiring. That’s not something you just move past. He’s been tied to so many major WrestleMania moments over the years that it feels like the end of a certain era. Despite saying goodbye to Lesnar, there is a young rookie by the name of Oba Femi, who has taken the WWE by storm
That’s really the takeaway from the whole weekend. Between returns, title changes, and Lesnar stepping away, it didn’t feel like just another WrestleMania. It felt like a reset in a lot of ways.
