Will Anthony Anderson walk away with Outstanding Lead Actor in a comedy Series at the 2021 Emmys

Los Angeles- Despite the uncanny situation of planning the Emmys with limited attendance due to the global pandemic, there is still an excitement buzzing around the big night.

This year will be very similar to last year, due to another rise in COVID-19 cases. Since the rise in cases and deaths have increased, the producers of the Emmys decided to move forward with their production. The production will be very limited with guests, media, and will be missing out on a lot of celebrities in attendance.

However, the buzz surrounding a lot of categories is what continues to to get a lot of fans excited. The one category that is very intriguing is the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy series. The category is stacked with talent. You have Anthony Anderson (Black-ish), Kenan Thompson (Kenan), William H. Macy (Shameless), Jason Sudkiss (Ted Lasso), and Michael Douglas (The Kominsky Method). All of these actors are great, but Michael Douglas may pull off the upset in this category.

Anderson does a great job with his role in Blackish, delivering lessons in life while adding a comedy relief to the program. He does it all, but in this category, Anderson may not come on top. It will be very interesting to see who will win in this category.

Only time will tell. The Emmys will broadcast live September 19 at 8 PM, ET.
