Trouble continues for International Olympic committee
Tokyo- For the last few months, the IOC has heard may people around the globe wanting to cancel the Olympics, because of the rise of COVID-19 cases.
On Tuesday, the Tokyo Medical Association sent out a memo to Japan's Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga and others who are involved with the Olympic games about their concerns with holding the games. The TMA have stated that it was not ideal for Japan to continue with the games and it could create another wave of COVID-19 infections and deaths.
Right now, there are nine cities under State of Emergency in Japan and the scene out there is at an all time panic. With only a couple months away, the IOC continues to clamp how they will move forward with the Olympics, while citizens in Japan disagree with what the IOC is doing. It will be very interesting to see what the IOC will do if cases do not go down in a couple of weeks.
