The Jags and Raiders will open up the 2022-2023 season, as they face off in the PFHOF game
In a very surprising announcement on Monday, the NFL announced that the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Las Vegas Raiders will play in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game to kick off the NFL preseason. What is shocking is both teams had one heck of a season last year with incidents off the field that changed the dynamic of their teams.
Each team will look a bit different with different head coaches. The Jags replaced Urban Meyer with Doug Pederson, while the Raiders went and got Josh McDaniels. It will be interesting to see how each of these coaches will help their team excel. The Raiders did the unthinkable and went to the playoffs, despite everything negative going around them, while the Jags played like a team with no direction.
With free agency and the NFL Draft around the corner, both teams may have a bright future ahead of them .
The HOF game will start Aug.4 at 8 pm, ET.
