The IOC will allow spectators to be at the Olympic games

Tokyo- On Monday,it was announced that the IOC was going to allow spectators to attend the Olympic games.



Despite the concerns of a potential COVID-19 rise, the IOC has decided to allow spectators to watch the Olympic games in person. As of right now, it is speculated that the IOC will allow close to 10,000 spectators at different events. If for some reason, the virus rate increase, the IOC will allow spectators to attend the games.


In the last few weeks, COVID-19 cases have decreased in Japan and close to 50% of people involved in the games have been vaccinated. At the start of the Olympics, the IOC wants to be around the 75% mark of people involved vaccinated. .
