The Fever lost 101-93 to the Wings despite Caitlin Clark's 19 assists.

On Wednesday night, Caitlin Clark broke the WNBA game record by dishing out 19 assists in the Indiana Fever's 101-93 WNBA loss to the Dallas Wings. Courtney Vandersloot had previously set a record of 18 for Chicago against Indiana on August 31, 2020, but Clark broke the record. Vandersloot also had 18 in a playoff game.

Aliyah Boston led Indiana with a career high 28 points. Boston was struggling early on in the season but has started to put things together. She looks like the player the Fever drafted when they picked her number in last year's WNBA draft. Clark finished with 24 points. NaLyssa Smith had 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Odyssey Sims and Arike Ogunbowale each scored 24 points for Dallas. Natasha Howard contributed 17 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, four steals, as well as seven rebounds. This is the second time in the season that the Wings have scored 100 points or more.

There was plenty of offense in this game as well as a lot of excitement in the last four minutes. Both teams fought very hard down to the last second, but it was Dallas who came out on top in this game.

This was the final WNBA game before the Olympics break
