The Los Angeles Rams are heading into one of the most high-profile schedules in the NFL for the 2026 season, with seven primetime games, two Netflix appearances, and a historic international opener against the San Francisco 49ers in Australia.

The NFL officially announced the Rams’ 2026 schedule on Thursday, unveiling a slate packed with playoff-caliber matchups and national television exposure as the franchise prepares for a season that will conclude with Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium in February 2027.

Los Angeles will host eight regular season games at SoFi Stadium and face seven teams that reached the 2025 NFL Playoffs. The Rams will appear on six different broadcast and streaming partners throughout the year, including Netflix, ESPN, NBC, FOX, CBS, ABC, and Amazon Prime Video.

The season begins with history on Sept. 10 as the Rams and 49ers meet at Melbourne Cricket Ground in the NFL’s first-ever regular season game played in Australia. The matchup will stream exclusively on Netflix and marks the Rams’ second consecutive season playing internationally.

After opening overseas, Los Angeles returns home for a Monday Night Football showdown against the New York Giants in Week 2 before traveling to Denver in Week 3 for a Sunday Night Football matchup against the Broncos.

The Rams then face another difficult stretch with a road game against the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4 followed by another Monday Night Football appearance against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills at SoFi Stadium in Week 5.

Division play begins in Week 6 when the Rams host the Arizona Cardinals in the first matchup between Rams head coach Sean McVay and new Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur.

The middle portion of the schedule includes back-to-back AFC West matchups against the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers game will also mark McVay’s first meeting against Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Following a Week 11 bye, the Rams return for one of the most unique games on the NFL calendar as they host the Green Bay Packers in the league’s first-ever Thanksgiving Eve game on Nov. 25. The matchup will stream on Netflix and serves as the Rams’ second appearance on the platform this season.

A week later, Los Angeles hosts the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football in a matchup that revives memories of the iconic 54-51 Rams victory over the Chiefs in 2018, widely considered one of the greatest regular season games in NFL history.

The Rams close out December with a key home matchup against the Dallas Cowboys before traveling to Seattle for a Christmas Day primetime showdown against the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks.

Los Angeles opens the new year on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before wrapping up the regular season at home against Seattle in a rematch of the 2025 NFC Championship Game.

Off the field, the Rams leaned into early-2000s nostalgia for this year’s schedule release video, recreating the opening credits style of the cult-classic film “Napoleon Dynamite.” Set to “We’re Going to Be Friends” by The White Stripes, the video featured handcrafted props, sketchbook drawings, tater tots, and playful references to opponents throughout the season.
