The Los Angeles Rams came into Sunday looking to bounce back after last week’s disappointing loss to the Carolina Panthers, and they accomplished that mission in emphatic fashion. With a 45–17 blowout victory over the Arizona Cardinals, the Rams reminded the league why they remain one of the most dangerous teams in the NFC. From opening drive to final whistle, Los Angeles controlled every phase of the game and delivered one of their most complete performances of the season.
Matthew Stafford once again set the tone offensively, putting together another impressive three-touchdown performance. He was sharp, efficient, and decisive, consistently finding open receivers and pushing the ball downfield with confidence. His connection with Puka Nacua stole the show. Nacua delivered today, catching seven passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns. Nearly every reception felt like a highlight-worthy moment as the star wide receiver torched the Cardinals secondary with acrobatic grabs and clutch plays.
The Rams’ ground attack was just as formidable. running back Blake Corum had the breakout game Rams fans have been waiting for, rushing for a career-high 128 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. His explosiveness and vision were on full display, echoing the dynamic style he showcased throughout his college career. Corum’s performance provided perfect balance to the passing game and kept Arizona’s defense off kilter all afternoon.
Now sitting at 10–3, the Rams return home to SoFi Stadium next Sunday after spending multiple weeks on the road. Awaiting them is a crucial showdown with the Detroit Lions, a team fighting to stay alive in the NFC playoff race. For Los Angeles to continue their push toward the postseason, maintaining this elite offensive rhythm will be essential. If Sunday’s performance is any indication, the Rams are trending in the right direction at exactly the right time.
