Rafael Nadal opts out of Miami Open tournament
Miami, FL- Tennis legend Rafael Nadal has decided that he was going to opt of the Miami Open tournament to get ready for matches in Europe.
Nadal has not had a good year this season, as he battles injuries that kept him from playing at 100%. Nadal wants to heal up and get ready for the grueling clay court in the upcoming weeks. He shared his thoughts on his social media platform about his decision.
“Sad to announce that I won’t be playing in Miami, a city that I love,” Nadal wrote on Twitter. “I need to fully recover and get ready for the clay-court season in Europe.
