Pitsburgh gets the W against the Cowboys in the 2021 Pro Football Hall of Fame 16-3

Pitsburgh-The Steelers get their first preseason game against the Cowboys.




Thursday Night was the bridging gap that NFL fans wanted to hear and that was football was back. Playing in the 2021 NFL Hall of Fame game was the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys. Prior to the game Mason Rudolph was announced as the started for the Steelers.



In the first half, not much offense was on display. Pittsburgh had a couple of decent drives that sputtered quickly. Najee Harris got a few reps in the first two quarters and finished the half with 7 carries for 22 yards. There were a few missed field goals by both teams and at the end of the anticipated break, the Steelers were down a field goal, 3-0.



At the start of the third, the Steelers got on the scoreboard with a 16-yard touchdown run by Kalen Ballage, which gave them the lead for the first time in the game,6-3. A few possessions later, the Steelers got a huge break in the third quarter with Donovan Steiner picking off Ben DiNucci. Steiner got 16 yards off the interception, which put the Steelers in position to score. Pittsburgh went on to tack on a field goal to make, 9-3.


In the fourth quarter, the Steelers put the hammer on the game with a touchdown to close out the game. Pittsburgh went on to win their first preseason game.
