Paul George got R Rated in Game 3 to put the Clippers up 2-1 in the series, 113-107
Orlando- Paul George's 32 points help the Los Angles Clippers squeeze out a victory against the Denver Nuggets, 113-107.
In the first half, both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George was getting their shots to go in the basket. George was coming off of curl screens, which freed him up to take wide open shots, while Leonard was getting into the paint and hitting every mid- range jumper. However, the Clippers could not stop Michael Porter Jr. who hit a couple of threes, had a couple of put backs, and was active with getting his teammates involved. Porter finished with 12 points at the end of the break. After being down by 12, the Clippers went on a 12-2 run to cut the Nuggets' lead to two at the end of the half, 59-57. George and Leonard combined for 31 points in the first two quarters.
George had 10 points in the third quarter to keep his team within striking distance. The Clippers were hitting their shots, but Nikola Jokic was killing LA with his outside shooting, passing ability, and getting inside the paint with ease. LA tried to throw everything at Jokic, but could not find an answer, as he put the Clippers' bigs in foul trouble. With under two minutes left in regulation and the Clippers up six, the Clippers came up big, as they stopped the Nuggets defensively. Denver went ice cold down the stretch and the Clippers scrap out a victory to go up 2-1 in the series.
