NFL teams can activate their international home marketing team and markets after Jan.1
Recently, the NFL has branched over into the international realm of business within Germany and Mexico to build their brands up within the organization. On Thursday,it was announced that 18 NFL teams could set up their marketing team markets after January.1 2022.
“NFL fandom begins with our clubs,” said Christopher Halpin, NFL Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy & Growth Officer. “This important initiative enables NFL teams to develop meaningful, direct relationships with NFL fans abroad, driving fan growth and avidity globally. We were very pleased with the number, creativity and level of commitment of club proposals across the board in this initial application period and look forward to teams launching their efforts early next year.”
With branching into the international market, the specified 18 teams will have five years under their contract to build the international brand. International fans will be excited that all NFL teams will play one international game for the next eight seasons..
