LeBron James scorches the Portland Trailblazers in Game 3, as the Lakers pull out a 116-108 victory.

Orlando- LeBron James and Anthony Davis secure a Game 3 victory over the Portland Trailblazer, 116-108.

The Los Angeles Lakers started the first half very slow, as Anthony Davis had only 6 points, 3 assists, and 5 rebounds in two quarters. Davis shot 1 of 3 from the field and seemed to be lacking energy on both sides of the floor. Davis was not as aggressive as he was in Game 2 and at times he was letting defenders run right past him to score easy buckets. LA. could not stop Cj McCollum, as he lit up the Lakers. McCollum went 8 of 14 for 20 points in the two quarters and gave Portland a nice cushion with the lead. However, LeBron James turned it on in the second quarter, as he bullied Portland in the paint, hit a couple of jumpers, and put a couple of defenders on a poster board. James finished the half with 20 points. Portland had a 57-53 lead at the break.

In the second half, the Lakers got back into their rhythm, as they took the lead and extended it to seven at the end of the third quarter. Carmelo Anthony went 6 for 6 in the third, but the Lakers were hitting their open shots. The Lakers were shooting around 50% from the field and Kentavious Caldwell- pope contributed to nine points in the quarter. Portland kept the game interesting late in the fourth, as they battled back to get within five points, but Davis and James hit a couple of shots to put the game away. The Lakers are up 2-1 in the series and will play Game 4 on Monday.

James finished with 38 points, 8 assists, and 12 rebounds. Davis finished with 29 points, 8 assists, and 11 rebounds.
