Kraken fall short in overtime loss to the Stars 4-3

In what was a thrilling and exciting game for fans, the Kraken knew that they had let this game slip away. After trailing in the second period, Seattle overcame a 2-1 lead, with two goals that they scored to go up in the final period. However, a costly defensive error cost the Kraken a potential win and the Stars capitalized off the mistake to force overtime.

In overtime, Miro Heisknanen scored the game winning goal for the Stars to win the game. Despite the effort for the Kraken, there are huge concerns with holding down the fort down the stretch. They are ranked 21st at home, which could be a huge problem with the playoffs around the corner. Even with their loss, the Kraken moved up one game ahead of the Olilers, after the Oilers lost their game to Toronto on Saturday.

Seattle has a chance to get revenge on the Stars, as their next game will be on Monday.
