Kayla McBride's amazing performance led the Minnesota Lynx to a historic 111-58 victory over the Las Vegas Aces, setting the WNBA record for the largest road win. McBride was nearly unstoppable, making 8 of 10 3-point attempts, including all eight in the first half. This was as the Lynx built a commanding 67-33 halftime lead.

The Aces, led by Jewell Loyd's 12 points and reigning MVP A'ja Wilson's 10, struggled to keep pace as Minnesota dominated from beyond the arc, finishing with a team-record 17 3-pointers. The Lynx's 53-point margin of victory surpassed the previous league record set by the Houston Comets in 1998.

While McBride fell short of the WNBA record for most 3-pointers in a game, her first-half performance underscored the Lynx's offensive firepower. Minnesota's dominance continued into the second half, extending their lead to 92-49 by the end of the third quarter. The win solidified the Lynx's position as the league's top team, while the Aces faced a challenging night against their high-scoring opponents.

The crushing defeat undoubtedly had a significant impact on the Aces' team morale. Such a lopsided loss can be demoralizing and may lead to a reassessment of strategies and player roles. However, it can also serve as a wake-up call, motivating the team to regroup and come back stronger in future games.
