Jay-Z has partnered up with Michael Rubin for sports betting bid

New York- Jay-Z has decided to dip his hands in a potential sports betting group with Philadelphia 76ers owner Michael Rubin.

Earlier this week, it was announced that the Jay-Z was partnering up with Rubin for a potential bid with a new sports group named Fanatics Sports Book. The papers have been filed and all they are waiting for is an okay from the New York State Gaming Association.

"Fanatics Sportsbook will use one of the largest sports fan databases in North America and proven sports betting platform and player account management technology to operate sports wagering in New York," the company wrote in its application.

Since 2018, many people around the world have seen the advancement in sports betting, because of a ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court. Since the ruling, 30 states have approved sports betting markets and many companies have taken advantage of the opportunities.
