Gabby Thomas breaks history in the 200 Meters and booked herself a ticket to Tokyo

New York- Gabby Thomas placed first in the 200 meters with a time of 21.61, which was the second fastest ever in women's track and field history.


Thomas had a nice break out of the blocks and kept he stride and composure the entire race. It looked like she did not break a sweat as she crossed the line and smashed her time in the history books.Thomas is the second woman in women's track and field to be clocked at 21 seconds in the 200 M. The first to do it and hold the record is Florence Griffith Joyner at 21.34 in 1988.
