Fever takes a blow to the Storm in blowout loss 103-88

After Caitlin Clark scored 30 points in a loss, the Fever had their rematch against the Seattle Storm and wanted to stop Jewell Loyd from going off. Loyd had 32 in the first match-up. Early on the Fever had to dig themselves out of an eight-point lead but they got themselves back iin the game by running the floor. Instead of Clark trying to hit the three-point shot, she was getting her teammates involved. NaLyssa Smith was getting buckets in the first half. She finished the second quarter with 15 points. Despite getting huge contributions for Smith, Indiana was down at the end of break.

Coming out of the Lockeroom, Indiana wanted to make sure that they nailed down open shots. They were shooting around 35% from rainbow land. Things turned from worst to elm street nightmare for the Fever. Seattle went on a 26-11run and extended their lead to 22heading into the fourth. The Fever attempted to make a little run, but Seattle capped off the night with a 10-2 run to put Indiana out of its misery. Smith finished with 23 and Clark finished with 20 points and 9 assists.
