ESPN First Take Will Honor Military

Los Angeles- Stephen A. Smith and crew will honor the military for a week starting November.9.

ESPN's First take will be dedicating a week called Salute to Service to honor active and veterans who served in the military. Starting next Monday, the First Take crew will go to five different bases to show their appreciation.

“We’re really looking forward to continuing First Take’s Veterans Week tradition of honoring our military in a unique, virtual way this year,” said ESPN coordinating producer, Antoine Lewis. “Doing the show from the studio, yet still having on-site audiences, interviews and more from each base, will allow us to create a week of meaningful shows while keeping everyone safe.” 

Viewers will hear exclusive interviews from individuals who served, mixed with a little laughter and competitive spirit about their views with different sports debates.
