Dolphins sign Hunter Long to a deal

Miami, FL- Today the Dolphin's made the announcement that they signed rookie Hunter Long.

Long was signed just in time for the start of training camp. He was picked in the third round as number 81st overall by Miami in the 2021 NFL Draft.Long is a three year letterman from Boston College. While at Boston he played in 36 games with 14 starts.

The NFL predicted Hunter Long as the 5th most productive rookie tight-end. During his overall college football career, Long totaled 89 career receptions for 1,297 yards with a 14.6 average and nine touchdowns. As a junior, Long started in all 11 games with an average of 12.0 and five touchdowns. Long also earned honors for second team All-American and first team All-ACC
