Los Angeles- On Sunday, the Dodgers close out the series against the Nationals in shut out victory 3-0.
The Dodgers got on the board early on, as they scored in the second to go up 1-0. However, it was not the offense that got it done, it was the pitching by Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw looked very healthy and pitched a near perfect game. He stuck out six players and did not walk anyone.
LA tacked on two more scores in the seventh to put the finishing touches on the game. After the game, Keshaw had this to say about how his game improved since playing for the Dodgers.
“It’s just a product of being on great teams,” Kershaw said. “That’s really all it is. I’ve been fortunate to be on Dodger teams that make the playoffs year after year. We always win games.”
