Coming into this series, who would have thought the Dodgers' offense was going to be flat. The first pitch of the night was a nightmare for the Dodgers as the Blue Jays hit two solo homers to take an early lead. A couple of innings later, Toronto had a 6-1 and that was all she wrote as the pressure has switched to Los Angles in a must win situation to extend the series to a winner take all game.
After the game, some of the Dodger's players spoke with members of media about the lack of offense. "We're not really doing much as an offense, and whenever we get a chance, we don't capitalize," the Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez said. "We're going through one of those funks right now. It is just really bad timing to have those in the World Series."
The Dodgers have been in this type of ditch before; it will be very interesting to see how aggressive they will come out with their season and crown on the line.
