The Dodgers' offense collapse on Wednesday, as the Giants pulled out the victory.

Los Angeles has had it's up and downs, early in the season with getting off to a great start, but on Wednesday the offense was just flat. Shohei Ohtan's record on being on base was finally broken. He went 0-4 at bat and had a better game as the starting pitcher. Ohtan allowed five hits in six innings of pitching.

“He was outstanding,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. “You saw it from the outset, just where his head was at, the velocity. It was going to be hard to get runs off him tonight and unfortunately, we couldn’t support him on the offensive side.”

The Dodgers are on a skid and have not looked like the team that everyone fear at the start of the season. It will be interesting to see what or who jumpstarts a spark for the team.
