Dodgers are going to the World Series, defeating the Atlanta Braves, 4-3
Los Angeles- Dodgers defeat the Braves to play the Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series.
In the first inning, the Dodgers gave up one score to the the Braves. Dustin May had gotten himself into trouble. The Braves had all bases loaded and was on the verge of driving in another score, but Los Angeles made a spectacular double play to finish out the inning. The Dodgers made a pitcher change in the second inning and put in the rookie Tony Gonsolin. Gonsolin gave up a solo home run, which put the Dodgers in a 2-0 hole.
The Dodgers tied the game in the bottom of the third, as Will Smith hit a base hit that sprung two scores, 2-2. The Braves tacked on another run to go back up 3-2. The Dodgers tied the game up in the sixth inning, 3-3. Cody Bellinger hit a a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh to put the Dodgers up 4-3. The Dodgers complete the comeback and will be heading back to the World Series.
