LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles Dodgers entered Wednesday night's National League Championship Series Game 3 facing mounting pressure, trailing the Milwaukee Brewers 2-0 in the best-of-seven series. With their hopes of winning a third consecutive World Series championship hanging in the balance, the Dodgers returned to Dodger Stadium determined to fight their way back into the series.

After falling behind early, Los Angeles finally found the offensive breakthrough it desperately needed.

A clutch two-run double from catcher Will Smith in the sixth inning gave the Dodgers a 2-1 advantage, igniting the home crowd and breathing new life into a team searching for answers after two difficult losses in Milwaukee.

However, the excitement was short-lived as the Brewers mounted a late comeback to secure a 6-2 victory, pushing the defending champions to the brink of elimination.
