Despite hitting shots down the stretch, the Clippers were defeated by the Spurs 116-113

Los Angeles- The Clippers went on a 6-2 run late in the fourth, but could not get the ball to go in with .20 seconds left in regulation, as they were defeated by the San Antonio Spurs in a nail-biter.

Despite Paul George not being in the line-up, the Clippers responded and played with more energy on both sides of the floor. With under two minutes left in regulation, Lou Williams hit a much needed three pointer to keep the Clippers within striking distance. After a couple of defensive stops, the Clippers hit a couple more shots to bring the game to one.

The Clippers had the ball with under .30 seconds left in the game and had three different chances to nail wide-open shots, but the ball kept rimming out of the basket. LA was forced to foul and eventually the Spurs went on to pull out the victory.
