If you wanted to know what a tennis Super Bowl would feel like, you saw it happen on Saturday as Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff faced off in the French Open Finals The first set was very grueling for Gauff as she started off slow and had to win a couple of games to make it a tight and gritty in the 10th game. Gauff was making it hard for Sabalenka, returning her first serve more shorter than longer, which was a key factor. Sabalenka had a couple chance to break and win the set, but a few volleys helped Gauff win the crucial game to knot it up at five games apiece. Gauff. Sabalenka came back in the breaker and won the first set 7-6

The second set started off like the last three games, which was another break. Gauff took the first game and built a little momentum off of that win. She dominated the set 6-2, which forced a winner take it all set.

I guess Sabalenka was telling Gauff in her head that she would go down on her shield, because something in sparked an offensive fire in her at the start of the third set. In the third game, Gauff started to put her signature on the game and had a 3-1 lead at one point. Sabalenka climbed her way out of the hole with her slicing forehand and some witty volleys to make it a 4-3 game. Despite Sabalenka's comeback, Gauff was ice cold down the stretch and won the last set 6-4.
