Chiefs' defense steals the game away from the Raiders

If you are a football fan, you were pretty hype that the NFL added an extra game on Friday to get your Thanksgiving weekend started. For the first time ever, there was a Black Friday game which included the Chiefs and Raiders.

For the most part of the half, the Chiefs offense had some great field position, but did not really take advantage of the position. It seemed like they had productive drives going but could not really connect and convert on third down conversions. You would think the Raiders would get blown out, but the Chiefs had a 10-3 lead, walking into the locker room.

Kansas City had two things that they wanted to see in the second half. They wanted to minimize petalites and they wanted to push the ball down the field instead of settling Their defense had some big stops in the quarter, but once again they were forced to kick a field goal, because of costly penalties.

Things got pretty interesting in the fourth quarter. The Raiders came back from the dead and scored two touchdowns to stun the fans and the Chiefs at the start of the fourth quarter. Up by two with five minutes left in the game, once again the Chiefs had to pull the rabbit out of their hat with getting a stop on the defensive side of the ball. Kansas stopped the Raiders on third down and forced them to kick a field goal, which was no good.

Las Vegas had one gasp of breath and hawked the Chiefs down the field to put themselves in field goal range to potentially win the game, but the Raiders fumbled the ball, and the Chiefs jumped on the ball to win the game 19-17.
