Chelsea Handler will host the 2023 Critics Choice Awards

Los Angeles- Comedian Chelsea Handler has been appointed hosting duties for the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards.

If you are not familiar with Handler, Handler was a huge success for E!, hosting her own show Chelsea lately. At one point in her career, she was the only woman that had a show late at night. After she ended her show, Handler decided to launch her own show, as well as documentary. With January coming up real soon, CW officially announced who was hosting the prestigious awards.

“We are thrilled to have Chelsea Handler joining us at the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards,” said CCA CEO Joey Berlin. “We all know and love her work as a standup comedian, a best-selling author, a podcast host, and actress - and now as host of the Critics' Choice Awards! I know this will be the best year yet and can’t wait for everyone to see what we have in store.”

The 28th annual Critics Choice Awards will be held at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, and air live on The CW from 7:00 – 10:00 pm ET
