Las Vegas ends Mystics winning streak

The Las Vegas Aces ended the Washington Mystics' seven-game winning streak Tuesday night with an 86-76 victory led by 26 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocks from A'ja Wilson. Jackie Young added 25 points and eight assists.

A 12-point performance was recorded by Chelsea Gray, and a 11 point and 11 rebound performance was recorded by NaLyssa Smith for Las Vegas (23-11). In 275 career games, Young became the seventh fastest player in WNBA history to reach 4,000 points and 1,000 assists.

A 20-point performance by Shakira Austin and a 19-point effort by Sonia Citron led Washington (19-13), which hasn't lost since July 18 against Golden State. Kiki Iriafen contributed 15 points and 13 rebounds. Washington's Betnijah Laney-Hamilton scored six points in her debut.

The Aces finished with 40-plus points in the paint for the ninth straight game. They have been a force to be reckoned with in the paint all season.
