Brock Purdy returned impressively from a toe injury, quickly showcasing his command of the game. On his first drive back, he adjusted at the line of scrimmage and connected with George Kittle for a 30-yard touchdown. Purdy finished with three touchdown passes, while Christian McCaffrey added two rushing touchdowns and a receiving score. Kittle caught two touchdown passes. The 49ers dominated the Arizona Cardinals 41-22, with McCaffrey extending his NFL record to 17 games with both a rushing and receiving touchdown. Now the San Francisco 49ers look like a team that is peaking at the right time.

Despite a strong performance by Jacoby Brissett, who set an NFL regular-season record with 47 completions for 452 yards, Michael Wilson caught 15 passes for a career-high 185 yards. A touchdown and 115 yards were accounted for by tight end Trey McBride. Arizona lost for the sixth time in seven games. The Cardinals were called for a franchise-record 17 penalties, also the most by any NFL team this season. They had 11 penalties in the first half — tied for the most before halftime for any team over the past 20 years.

The San Francisco 49ers are hitting their stride at a crucial moment in the season, showcasing a balanced offensive attack and solid defensive play. With key players like Purdy, McCaffrey, and Kittle performing at high levels, the team has the potential to make a deep playoff run. Their recent performances suggest they are becoming increasingly cohesive and resilient, making them a formidable contender in the postseason.
