WNBA's madness right around the corner

Since the WNBA and the WNBAPA agreed to a new deal almost a week ago, the WNBA has been on its toes with getting news out to the public in a timely manner.

On Thursday, the WNBA sent out a mass email to members of media about the time and date for the WNBA expansion draft. If you are just tuning in, the WNBA's new team in the Toronto Tempo will make its debut with their expansion draft on April 3rd at 7pm ET.

After the expansion draft, the WNBA free agency will be buzzing with household name players, dipping their feet with different teams. This season, the free agency market will be very interesting to watch as players like Sabrina Ionescu, Kelsey Mitchell, Stewie, Kelsey Plum, and Jewell Loyd, who are free agents.

Right after free agency, the W will get ready for WNBA Draft, which is guard heavy this year. The draft will broadcast April 13 a7 7PM, ET. Right after the draft, you have preseason games, which will start up a week after the draft. Whew talk about a sprint to the finish as preseason wraps up and the WNBA will open its season May 8th.
