What decision will Aaron Rodgers make, concerning his NFL career

On Sunday, the Green Bay Packers battled the Detroit Lions to get into a wild card position, but the Lions gave them an upset that they will always remember. The Lions pulled it off, winning the game 20-16. After the game, Jameson Williams asked Rodgers if he could get his jersey, and A-Rod replied, "I think I’m going to hang on to this one." This leads to speculation about what is next for Rodgers. He has three options: retire, stay in Green Bay, or find a new team.

Rodgers hasn’t had it easy the last couple of years with the Packers and the tension between him and the organization has caused a ripple effect. They traded his number one option, Davante Adams, to the Las Vegas Raiders and has not helped him out with drafting a wide receiver in the draft for the past three years. Rodgers is 39 going on 40 and may need some time off to think about his decision regarding his position. Rodgers may retire, but I doubt that’s likely. Rodgers' most likely option seems to be finding himself a new home with a change of scenery.

All in all, we will know in due time what is going on with Rodgers and his career. Rodgers is a legend, and if he retires tomorrow, he will be a future Hall of Famer, but sometimes it is not that easy to walk away from something you love so much.
