The Wizards lose their eighth straight game as they fall to the Bucks.

The Washington Wizards traveled to Milwaukee looking for their first in-season tournament win. Washington lost its first three in-season tournament games and was already mathematically eliminated from contention.

The game began just like most Wizards games: with a ton of offense and barely any defense at all, both teams went into the half with over 60 points each. Jordan Poole showed the Wizards organization that he can still be a young elite scorer in this league with his ability to create shots off the dribble, leading the team with 26 points.

The team should also be impressed by their third-year sharpshooter, Corey Kispert, who knocked down six 3-pointers on the night. The night belonged to Brook Lopez; the 7-footer went back in time as he scored 39 on the Wizards, which was a game high. Dame and Giannis combined for 62 points, as both of the stars scored 31 each. Kyle Kuzma helped the Wizards with his 22 points, of which nine came from deep. Washington has given up at least 110 points in all but two of their games this season.

The game came down to the last possession, but Washington air-balled an open corner three. As the team sits at the bottom of the league in almost every defensive statistical category, they will have a lot of time to try to fine-tune themselves on that end of the floor. The Wizards scouting department will surely be looking hard into the upcoming draft, as the team seems to be trending toward being at the top of the lottery.
