The power of representation

It was the perfect night and the weather was great for this indoor/outdoor affair. Elevate Lounge, in Hollywood California, was the spot last night, April 19th, for the screening of the New Power Rangers movie that debuted, and airing on Netflix.

The event, produced by Alex Porter was packed, and star studded, as all the Power Rangers walked the “Black Carpet”. It was a family affair, with guest of all ages, as many got a chance to reminisce while getting reacquainted with the beloved characters, new and old. Eyes were glued to large screens as we got a chance to see the new revision of a cult classic, produced by Hasbro. It was great to see the excitement shared and felt by all.

We got a chance to chat with Walter E. Jones, about how he has helped impact many, as the first black power ranger. “It’s an Honor truly”, he states, “ I ready to impact the next generation”.
