Orlando- Milwaukee Bucks were outworked by the Orlando Magic, as the Magic stole game one from the Bucks, 122-110.

At the end of the first half, the Bucks trailed the Magic by 10-points, 62-52. The energy was not there for the Bucks at the start of the game on both sides of the floor and the Magic took advantage of it. They were getting wide-open shots and second-chance opportunities on the glass. Giannis Anteotokounmpo had a very quiet first half for the most part but scored 10 points in the second quarter to close out the half with 17 points and two fouls. The Bucks erased an 18-point lead and cut the deficit to 10 before the half. Outside of Giannis, all of the other star players combined for 28-points and as a team that shot around 41% for the half.

In the second half, the Bucks cut the lead down to three within the first five minutes in the third quarter on a 9-2 run, but the Magic went on a 23-11 run to extend their lead to double digits at the end of the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Magic kept the Bucks at bay with their mid-range shooting and the wall that they built around Giannis on the defensive end. Nikola Vucevic had a monster game for the Magic, as he contributed 35 points against the Bucks. Milwaukee's second unit did not show up and it showed as the Magic took game one of the series.

Giannis finished the game with 31 points, 7 assists, and 17 rebounds. Khris Middleton finished with 14 points, 4 assists, and 6 rebounds.
