The 2024 WNBA Draft will take place April 15 in New York

WNBA Draft 2024 presented by State Farm will take place on Monday, April 15 at BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music). The League's 28th Annual Draft to be Exclusively Televised on ESPN from 7:30-9:30 p.m. ET.  WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert will announce the draft picks live on ESPN.

Top prospects will participate live as WNBA Draft 2024 presented by State Farm moves from Manhattan to Brooklyn, New York City. BAM has been the home to world-renowned productions in theatre, dance, music, opera, film and more for over 160 years, showcasing emerging artists and modern masters.

WNBA's iconic Orange Carpet will serve as the official tip-off of the draft night festivities as invited draft prospects show off their personalities and fashions ahead of this life-changing event. There will be a special lighting ceremony to celebrate the WNBA Draft 2024 presented by State Farm earlier in the day, when draft prospects will visit the iconic Empire State Building for a celebration of the WNBA Draft 2024.

This will be the first time the draft is a seated event with fans in attendance. This is since the 2014-16 drafts were held at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. This draft class has the potential to be one of the most exciting classes if everything turns out according to plan.
