The 2020 NHL Draft will air October 6 at 7 pm ET

Seattle- The 2020 NHL Draft will broadcast Tuesday October, 6 at 7 pm ET.

Even though the NHL season just finished with the Tampa Bay Lightning winning the Stanley Cup this past week, the Draft will be held this Tuesday. The fist team that will be getting the first overall draft pick will be the New York Rangers. The Rangers finished the 2020 season with a 37-28 record and looks to get a player that could be a franchise player for the organization.

Before the picks are called, NBC will be hosting a a pre-draft edition where sports broadcaster Liam McHugh will be giving viewers her perspective on what player is projected to go where. The 2020 NHL Draft is headlined by Canada’s Alexis Lafreniere, wo is an18-year-old forward who scored 112 points (35 goals, 77 assists) with Rimouski Oceanic of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in 2019-20.
