Sparks are out of the playoffs, as the Connecticut Sun take the 73-59 victory

Los Angeles- The Los Angeles Sparks lacked energy on both sides of the floor, as the Connecticut Sun pulled out the 73-59 victory.

Candace Parker had one heck of a game with 22 points, 5 assists, and 14 rebounds as she tried to put some type of energy into the Sparks. Collectively the Sparks looked flat as a team and did not have that spark that a lot of people are used to see from LA. From start to finish the Suns dominated the painted area, hit their wide open shots, and was active on the defensive end. The Sun had five players in double figures.

The Sparks had too many turnovers and was getting outplayed the entire game. Seimone Augustus came on a little late, as she played pretty decent in the second half, but it was not enough as the Sparks dropped a game they needed to advance to the semifinals. The Sun will face the Las Vegas Aces.
