Seoul, Soul, Sole is Air Jordan's hottest sneaker drop of the year,

The 2025 Kicks Lounge hosted a night of pure SOLE madness on Friday, May 16th, in Akron, Ohio.   The immersive celebration merged Korean heritage, street culture, and the highly anticipated Air Jordan 3 "Seoul 2.0."


Designed by Korean American designer and Kicks Lounge founder Thomas Kim, "Seoul, Soul, Sole" was a bold and deeply personal expression of identity, creativity, and sneaker culture.  Originally from Akron, Kim was handpicked by Jordan Brand to launch the coveted shoe.


It showcased Korean aesthetics, sneaker storytelling, and interactive installations in a reimagined warehouse.   One of the season's most buzzed-about drops, the Air Jordan 3 "Seoul 2.0" was available before its public release at the event.


There were many activities like Curated bites, food trucks, and cocktails inspired by Korean flavors  A "Window into Korean Heritage" experience Exclusive giveaways and raffle entries for the AJ3 "Seoul 2.0" A 6-ft sculpture of the Air Jordan 3 "Seoul 2.0," built to scale Neon Jumpman and Korean flag installations, as well as DJ sets by DJ ESO, 100 Grand, and DJ Pikachieu.



“This wasn’t just a sneaker drop—it’s a movement,” said Kim.  The event was a celebration of culture, creativity, and community, bringing together sneaker enthusiasts and fans of Korean heritage. It marked a significant moment for the Air Jordan brand, showcasing the power of collaboration and storytelling in the world of sneakers.
