Season 7 of Queen Sugar starts the season off with a bang

Today we are bringing you some exclusive tea from the season 7 premiere of Queen Sugar before it airs tonight, Tuesday, September 6th at 8pm ET/PT on OWN. The first episode of the season is titled “And When Great Souls Die”, let’s get into the tea.

The Boudreux’s comes together for the christening of the newest addition to the family, Tru. Darla and Ralph Angel transition into a new level of parenthood with their new baby and the distance from Blue. Ralph Angel is struggling with missing moments in his children’s lives due to the professional sacrifices he is currently making for the land. Aunt Vi is learning to allow and accept change in every area of her life, starting with allowing Ralph Angel and Darla to create their own parental strategies for raising their children.

Charlie excels in her journey as a politician and begins to think about going from a state position to a federal one. All is well with Nova; Dominic and herself deepen their connection during a passionate discussion about her writing and she is offered a six-figure deal to turn the novel that almost broke her family into pieces into a movie.

Now It just wouldn’t be right if the Landry’s didn’t try to come and destroy what has been done to save the farm, right? The two families are found to be intertwined once again in history and now, the historical marker status on the land is in jeopardy. It is not looking good for the Boudreaux family farm. Make sure you tune in to the season 7 premiere of “Queen Sugar” tonight at 8pm ET/PT on OWN.
